Legend of the world music scene Baaba Maal released his new album ‘Television’ this summer.
To celebrate the release, Palm Pictures and Giant Step are launching a competition to find a new, fresh remix of the album’s high-energy track 'International'.
Baaba sees language as an instrument and he searches for different ways to diversify his music- this newest album ‘Television’ is a collaboration with New York’s Brazilian Girls, who helped him blend West African musical traditions with electronic dance music – so the challenge is to keep the spirit of experimentation and fusion alive to create an innovative remix. |
